Dear Members and Pupils of the Selangor Bar,


The Selangor Bar Committee has received numerous complaints from Members about the delay in the issuance of the presentation statements by the Pejabat Tanah & Galian Selangor (“PTGS”) and District Land Offices since the implementation of the e-Tanah Selangor system on 30th October 2023, for all land registrations /transactions in the Selangor Land Offices.


The Selangor Bar Conveyancing Practice Committee (CPC) has raised this issue with the PTGS and was informed that the delay was due to the integration between the e-Tanah Selangor and the Smartbox system, which is still in its early stages. 


We are pleased to advise that the relevant authorities in the PTGS and the District Land Offices have agreed to cooperate with the Selangor Bar Committee for the urgent issuance of the presentation statements.


Members who have issues with Selangor Land Offices or who have presented their presentations before 1st December 2023 (and have yet to receive the presentation statements) are advised to write in to: secretariat@sgorbar.org for assistance by providing details of their presentations and supporting documents for us to assist and raise the issue with the relevant Land Offices.
