Dear Members and Pupils of the Selangor Bar,


Due to several issues relating to the limited queue numbering system imposed by Pejabat Tanah Daerah Klang (“PTDK”) for presentations, the Conveyancing Practice Committee has finally managed to convince PTDK to open its registration counters without any fixed queue numbers to enable members to present their instruments for registration effective 3rd January 2022.


Further, please be informed that :


(a) all counters will be closed on 31st December 2021 for closing of the 2021 year accounts;


(b) the counters will be opened for transactions on 3rd January 2022;


(c) the requirement to produce the latest paid up quit rent and assessment receipts for year 2022 for presentations of year 2021 instruments will be waived up till 31st January 2022;


(d) each law firm is allowed to present 3 presentations for registration per day and there won’t be fixed queue numbers, effective January 2022, subject to the counter hours.
