Report Of The Meeting with Timbalan Pendaftar Pentadbiran Tuan Fairuz Bin Pian



The civil law committee chairs Mr Bernard Scott and Ms Kokila Vaani Vadiveloo together with the Selangor Bar Chairman, Mr Salim Bashir ("the committee") had an introduction meeting with the Timbalan Pendaftar Pentadbiran Tuan Fairuz Bin Pian on 01.04.2015. Alo present was the Managing Deputy Registrars for civil and criminal respectively.



The committee took this opportunity to raise the following issues faced by the members for Tuan Fairuz's attention :



    
	
  1. Delay in E-Filing extractions from Klang Court, that has been pending for more than a month.

    2. 
	
  2. E-Filing extractions and it's short comings in Shah Alam Court.

    3. 
	
  3. The State of Affair in Bankruptcy divisions in Shah Alam Court, that demands an effective mechanisms to be placed in respect to Queing system, revisiting the kiosk registrations and a make-over of the area for a better air-ventilations, and clean carpets. A suggestion to have a court staff on duty at the bankruptcy division for purpose of calling out Files/debtors are in progress.

  4. A suggestion to increase the attendance of OA officers during hearing of AO/RO.

    5. 
	
  5. The Demeanour and Conduct of Registras' during hearing of bankruptcy matters.

    6. 
	
  6. Suggestion that all staff and officer, of the court, to wear name tags, for purpose of identifications.

    7. 
	
  7. Suggestion to have an ATM machine in court for members and public.

    8. 
	
  8. It is suggested too, that in criminal matters, lower crt judges/magt's hand written notes to be made into type written form for purpose of appeal.

    9. 



Tuan Fairuz acknowledged all issues raised and in relation to item 2 had requested about a month to address the above.



Rest assured we will continue to follow up and have the best interest of the members at all times.
