Dear Members Of the Bar,



The problem of security guards in Shah Alam Court preventing lawyers from parking their cars at the Court Annex Building Car Park (1st floor) after 8.30 am has arisen again.



Upon becoming aware of this, we spoke to the Pengarah Of Shah Alam Court Pn Sabariah Atan on 11.3.2014 stating that:-



	* the Shah Alam Court and the Selangor Bar Committee had an arrangement that lawyers are allowed to park their cars at the Court Annex Building Car Park (1st floor) after 8.30 am provided the lawyers cars has the Bar Council sticker or badge on it; and



	* this parking problem appears to be a perennial problem which appears to be solved when raised by us BUT only to arise again when there are new security guards.



In view of the above, the Shah Alam Court agreed to resolve this issue whereby effective 17.3.2014, the security guards are to allow lawyers to park their cars at the Court Annex Building Car Park (1st floor) after

8.30am provided the lawyers cars has the Bar Council sticker or badge on it.
